This lecture will address some aspects of nutrition from an anthroposophical perspective and explore the different layers of healthy eating: in addition to health and quality of life, the impact of nutrition on the social, environmental and spiritual spheres.
The idea is to provide an impetus for self-care through real nutrition, since a healthy organism is the ground for the growth of willpower and the development of real actions.
Elaine de Azevedo is a nutritionist with a specialization in Anthroposophic Medicine. She completed internships in Anthroposophic Medicine clinics in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. She has a master's degree in Agroecosystems, a PhD in Political Sociology and has a post-doctorate in Public Health. Currently, she is a professor of sociology of food and health in the Social Sciences Department at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, as well as a lecturer in Biodynamic Agriculture trainings and Waldorf Seminars in Brazil, where she lives.
