Pre-Conference Day 2026: Biodynamic Network, Professional group meetings and tasting

A day to arrive, to come together. A place to create ideas, to spin them further. A space to learn from each other and to present ourselves, our products and projects.

We meet one day before the conference to discuss specific topics, learn from each other, and work together towards the future.

The morning program is specifically designed for biodynamic advisors, trainers, and researchers , while after lunch, the artistic moment will be exciting for anyone who wants to take something away for his/her work or personal development. In the afternoon, we offer space for professional groups or other thematic work meetings. In the evening, we will all come together again for a tasting and simple supper to celebrate biodynamic products and enjoy each other's company in a relaxed atmosphere.

PROFESSIONAL MEETINGS IN THE AFTERNOON

  • Researchers: Part I: Long-term field study - presentations and discussion (15:00-16:30 CET); Part 2: International Experiment on the BD Preparations (16:45-18:15 CET) with Christopher Brock, Forschungsring e.V., Eduardo Rincón and others (Nordsaal)

  • Trainers: Showing each other attention with Simone Helmle. Open space to further explore discussions started during the morning trainer meeting (Nordatelier, 15:00 -16:30 CET)

  • Trainers: Integrating the anthropsophical picture of the human being and inner development into training: Conversation space and case clinic, with Anthony Mecca (Holzhaus rechts, 15:00-16:30 CET)

  • Economic Circle “From you never farm alone to we never trade alone” with Ueli Hurter, Andrea Valdinoci and others: Which (wholesale) trade structures do we recognize as building social trust and promoting health for people and the environment? with Ueli Hurter, Andrea Valdinoci and others (Haldesaal, 13:30-18:30 CET)

  • CSA and Community-Supported Economy (CSE) with Richard Michael Pummer, Verein Dorfgarten. Only when it is understood as an aspect of a community-supported economy (CSE) that has already been partially realized (by CSA) will community-supported agriculture be able to unfold its full transformative potential. This requires the principles of community-supported agriculture to be transferred to other areas of supply. What does this require? This is to be discussed and developed in the working group (Halde Atelier, 15:00-16:30)

  • 7 Life processes with Hans Supenkämper and Benno Otter
We will work on transforming life processes into learning processes, researching the design options associated with this. This applies to areas of training in practical work, but also to tasks within the certification and accreditation processes. It also directly affects social areas throughout the entire surrounding environment (Holzhaus Atelier, 15:00-17:30 CET).

  • Biodynamic Herbalism: Distilling essential oils and therapeutic-quality scented waters with Emanuele Tellini and Marilena Massera. Essential oils, or essential oils, are products obtained by extraction from aromatic plant material. Essential oils have an allelopathic effect on nearby plants; they have a selective antibiotic effect on pathogenic microorganisms; they attract pollinators; and they act as intermediaries in energetic reactions. They can have an important therapeutic effect on humans if the principles of biodynamic agriculture are applied during cultivation and distillation. This seminar will introduce you to this aromatic world with a demonstration of state-of-the-art practical distillation of essential oils and therapeutic-quality scented waters (Schreinerei Südsaal rechts, 15:00-17:30 CET)

  • Nutrition: Testing food quality - Introduction in emphatic food testing with Jasmin Peschke// workshop cancelled
  • About anthroposophical adult education with Ambra Sedlmayr // workshop cancelled
