Biodynamic research is based on rigorous scientific methods and aims to understand the underlying mechanisms as well as their potential benefits for the environment and society. As early as 1919, a research laboratory was established in the Glass House, now the headquarters of the Section for Agriculture, to provide scientific support for biodynamic agriculture. Over 100 years later we are still committed to promoting the understanding and application of biodynamic principles in agriculture, ecology and human health.
