A large part of the climate-impacting emissions in agriculture is due to animal husbandry. This is why the current climate debate critically discusses the keeping of ruminants and cattle in particular.

However, ruminants are more than just suppliers of meat and milk. The project "Cow and Climate" examines the current state of research on the climatic effects of livestock farming from the perspective of biodynamic agriculture. We believe that cows will continue to be an important part of sustainable, circular agriculture in the future.
