At the upcoming anniversary conference, we intend to focus on the profound content and the conceptual images that we find in the Agriculture Course. Can the concepts we encounter there still be a source of in- spiration today? How can the images be deepened and brought to life in such a way that they become ac- cessible to the next generation - so that young people can use them in their practical work with the earth? Do current challenges in agriculture allow us to take a fresh look at the observations of Rudolf Steiner in the eight lectures of the Course?
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of biodynamics, we warmly invite you to present a poster at the Agricultural Conference in February. The poster can portray an initiative, an individual farm, a topic of the Agricultural Course, or prominent individuals in the biodynamic movement. The last conference already fea- tured a number of inspiring poster contributions. For the next conference, we are happy to be able to pro- vide space for about 50 posters.
Portrayal of a personality from the movement
Individual people have carried and shaped the biodynamic impulse in unique ways. Guiding questions: In which way was the biography of this person connected to the history of biodynamics? Where do we recog- nize the impulse or the work of this individual in biodynamics today?
Portrayal of a farm or a place
A presentation of a farm, an agricultural organization or a place where biodynamic principles have been practically applied and further developed. Guiding questions: How did the Koberwitz impulse come to work at this place? How did this farm contribute to the further development of biodynamics? What is the signifi- cance of this farm to the movement?
Portrayal of an organization or association
A presentation of an organization in which people have come together to carry and develop the biodynamic movement. Guiding questions: How has this organization carried the Koberwitz impulse since 1924? What were the significant stages in its development? At what point in history is the organization today?
Presentation of core contents from the Agriculture Course
In the eight lectures of the Course, we encounter the deep conceptual images and principles that underlie biodynamic agriculture all over the world: The individuality in agriculture, the polarity between cosmos and earth, the give and take between animals and plants in nature's household, the preparations, or the soil as a breathing organ – those can be examples of such conceptual images.
What formats can be exhibited?
Posters should be submitted as printable file in high resolution, preferably as PDF. The format should pref- erably be A0 portrait (118.9 cm high / 84.1 cm wide). You may also bring a printed or hand-painted poster to the conference - all submissions are welcome.
If you would like to design a poster, please let us know as soon as possible. You can do this via agriculture-conference.paperform.co and select the category “Poster”.
The deadline for submission of posters is in December 2023.
