In her recent TEDx Talk, 'Turning fashion into a Climate Solution', Arizona Muse, a model, sustainable fashion advocate, climate activist, and founder of the Dirt Charity Foundation, highlights the environmental impact of the fashion supply chain.

Fashion, while a significant contributor to climate change, has the capacity to instead be a powerful tool as a climate solution. Arizona Muse stresses the transformative potential of every garment, highlighting the crucial role of regenerative farming practices, as seen in biodynamic farming. 

Aligned with Demeter's biodynamic standards for food and beverages, the Federation is actively working on a textile certification standard. This initiative aims to ensure that Demeter certified textile cultivation actively promotes biodiversity, enhances soil health, and contributes significantly to climate change mitigation, all in accordance with biodynamic standards.

Muse’s vision is clear: By supporting regenerative practices and adhering to biodynamic textile standards, we can transform fashion from a climate change contributor to a climate change solution.
