A large proportion of climate-impacting agricultural emissions are due to animal husbandry, which is why the current climate debate is critical of livestock farming and cattle in particular.
Biodynamic agriculture shows that ruminants provide more than just products such as meat and milk. This is why we in the "Cow and Climate" working group want to initiate an in-depth analysis and treatment of the "Cow and Climate" issue from the angle of biodynamics and anthroposophy.
And because we believe that the cow will continue to be important for (biodynamic) agriculture, we will be providing literature, projects and information for people working in biodynamics and also for researchers and other interested parties.
