WOVEN SKIN - Claudy Jongstra at the Goetheanum

Studio Claudy Jongstra’s WOVEN SKIN - an artwork and nomadic pavilion that facilitates international, multidisciplinary dialogue to inspire a cultural transformation around environmental activism.
In 2018-19, WOVEN SKIN was exhibited during major cultural and political events including Climate Week NYC / UNGA Climate Change Summit at The Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture; Manifesta 12 Palermo, Sicily; European Cultural Capital Leeuwarden-Friesland at the Waste-NO Waste Factory, Groningen, NL; and the world premiere of Farm Flower Fragrances at ‘It Fryske Gea Nature Preserve, Bakkeveen, NL.
In 2020, WOVEN SKIN will be exhibited during the Annual International Agriculture Conference at the Goetheanum Dornach, Switzerland, and will be featured in Claudy Jongstra’s solo exhibition at Museum De Lakenhal, Leiden, NL.
Another three-part work by Claudy Jongstra is TRIPTYCH (110 x 80), which will be on view in the foyer of the Goetheanum until the end of May 2020.
